Германците “Билфингер Бергер“ ќе ја модернизираат РЕК Битола “Билфингер Бергер“ ќе имаат за задача да ги модернизираат трите котли во термоелектраната на Електрани на Македонија. Според соопштението до Германија работата ЕЛЕМ ќе ја чини 90 милиони евра плус дополнителни трошоци за поправки и одржување на комбинатот. РЕК Битола, со покривање на околу 70 отсто од потрошувачката на енелктрична енергија, е најважниот дел од енергетскиот систем во Македонија. Со модернизацијата ќе се направи значително намалување на емисијата на штетни гасови од термоелектраната и ќе се обезбеди таа да ги исполнува современите еколошки стандарди. Bilfinger Berger to modernize the largest power plant in Macedonia German civil engineering and construction giant Bilfinger Berger will modernize all three boilers in the lignite-burning power plant "TPP Bitola" which is part of JSC Macedonian Power Plants, the largest electricity generation company in Macedonia. The order has a volume of about €90 million and additionally covers the long-term repair and maintenance of the facility. "TPP Bitola" is the most important power plant in the country and provides more than three quarters of Macedonia's electricity needs. With the modernization, Bilfinger Berger is making a decisive contribution to the reduction of emissions at the power plant and to ensuring that it meets modern environmental standards. In the countries of Eastern Europe, great efforts are being undertaken to fulfill established climate protection requirements. In the next five years, up to 30 conventional power plants in Eastern European countries are to be modernized. As one of the leading service providers in the energy sector, Bilfinger Berger Power Services sees good prospects to benefit from these developments. Bilfinger Berger Power Services has been working successfully in Eastern European markets for some time now: In Belchatow, Poland, the Group is renewing the steam generators for six blocks of Europe's largest lignite-fired power plant. There, too, the facility conforms to the European Union's stricter environmental standards with the help of state-of-the-art technology.
